Third Degree recently teamed up with Delta Community Credit Union to create
and execute a sweepstakes promotion that focused on financial products that help stretch the monthly income of every day families.

Delta Community targeted members and non-members, inviting them to enter to win a chance to have $5,000 of their debt paid by Delta Community, plus a
financial makeover.


Third Degree used a mixed-medium platform including television, print, radio, direct mail, plus in-branch posters, flyers, stuffers and multimedia screens to direct viewers to a custom micro website.

Visitors to the site could find out details of the sweepstakes and learn more about Delta Community's dollar-stretching products, and get tips and tools on how to spend less and save more.

Delta Community decided to promote three products along with the sweepstakes, including their interest-bearing checking account, their low fixed-rate visa credit card, and low loan rates.

When the sweepstakes launched, the national news was all about credit card companies coming under fire for raising their rates. Delta Community took
advantage of the timing, and added a second mailing during the promotion which focused on their low fixed-rate credit card.
